Contact dimensional inspection services allow you to measure geometric dimensions and tolerances to identify possible defects and deviations of the object from the original CAD model.
Unilab supports you from the simple verification of the drawing to the drafting of a complete PPAP, but also in the statistical analysis of the parameters Cp & Cpk.
Measurements with CMM are mainly used to test a part or assembly to determine whether it is in conformity with the original design. All activities can provide analysis and feedback useful for internal quality control in companies.
The advantage of our instrumentation over conventional instruments (micrometers, height gauges) is precision, speed and reduced human error.
The instrument fleet is not only extended to the dimensional control by contact, we have at our disposal:
– Zeiss measuring machines with fixed (high precision) and equipped with a rotating table
– Structured light scanner
– Anthropomorphic measuring arms
– Profilometer and Roughness Meter
– Classical bench-top equipment
Our support starts from the correct interpretation of the requirements present in the drawing to arrive at the realization of a dimensional report that contains all the required metrological characteristics. If necessary, we can collaborate in the design of specific fastening equipment, both single and pallet (multi-piece) for a total optimization of the available work volume.
Unilab uses advanced Zeiss technologies that allow us to perform high-precision checks adaptable to different types and sizes of components, performing verification cycles both from specifications to design and directly from the CAD model.
We have measuring machines with fixed heads that can be used either with the simple point-taking or with continuous scanning (also for unknown profiles).
