Our business aims to enable clients to see innovation as a competitive tool: It aims to learn how to implement funded projects and programmes that lead them to acquire innovative knowledge to compete through the development of new products and related production processes. To meet these needs, Unilab is part of some of the most important regional networks in the industrial sectors.
Association representing the Italian industry of Components and Mechatronics Technologies for Fluid Power, Power Transmission, Control and Intelligent Automation of Industrial Products and Processes, is a reference point for the industrial automation sector, focused on integrating the different technologies used to represent the entire supply chain.
The core of the mission of the AIR regional innovation network is the transfer of innovative technologies, both as spin-offs and spin-ins, between the aerospace sector and the industrial chain in the territory, in transversal applications with high economic and social impact, Bringing strong synergy between the two systems with mutual and important advantages.
The significant research and innovation capacity of companies and scientific expertise makes aerospace an area for developing technologies and skills, useful to stimulate the emergence of emerging industries or new market niches.
Strategic objectives for the aerospace sector:
– Autonomous navigation and remote observation
– Advanced on-board systems for small satellites in the new space economy
– Space exploration
– Enhancement
– Clean & safe spaces in space and food environment
Rete SINFONET – Smart & Innovative Foundry Network – is one of the first Regional Innovative Networks, dedicated to the Venetian foundry sector, officially recognized by the Veneto Region on 22 June 2016 and active in the area of Smart manufacturing.
THE REGIONAL INNOVATION NETWORK IS CHARACTERISED BY:
– Extension to the regional territory (which can also cross regional and national boundaries and in which the relational aspect becomes essential);
– New or innovative entrepreneurship;
– New or innovative sectors.
Rete SINFONET, which also includes our laboratory, is made up of about 45 partners (including 14 large companies) with over 4,500 employees and a turnover of more than 1.5 billion euros, and two departments of the University of Padova (Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management, Department of Information Engineering).
GOALS:
– Building the “intelligent foundry of the future” where innovation and integration can lead to training, employment, competitiveness;
– to establish in Veneto a Pole of Excellence that brings together the actors of all sectors: foundries, producers of raw materials and consumables, suppliers of engineering, services, technology, plants, research and innovation bodies, end-users.
ACTIONS:
The Rete Innovativa Regionale SINFONET will carry out and coordinate initiatives for the foundry of ferrous (cast iron, steel) and non-ferrous (light alloys) alloys in the following areas:
1) research, development, innovation and technology transfer (new materials and processes, control systems, product and process standards, process/product design);
2) training and qualification of human resources;
3) Internationalisation and new markets;
4) energy and environmental efficiency.
