Unilab performs 3D scanning by comparison and using the tomographic system EXA CT M200 produced by Wenzel Volumetrik, processes the scans using the software VG Studio MAX of Volumegraphics.

The result of our service is: a paper report, videos and animations that attest to the conformity of the product according to the 3D CAD model. The advantage of using tomographic scanning is that it can detect the internal surfaces of the component, which are normally not visible.

The coupling modes, alignment errors, dimensional and geometric characteristics of a component can be evaluated simultaneously by a single tomographic detection cycle and subsequent superposition with the theoretical model.
